IFA League Trials – Term 4 2026

Following a fantastic first season competing in the IFA League, First Touch Football Academy is excited to open expressions of interest for our Term 4 2026 squads.

We are looking for committed young players who want to develop their game in a positive, challenging and development-focused environment while representing First Touch Football Academy in the IFA League.

Trial Dates

Location: Ellis Park, West Terrace, Adelaide

Arrive: 9:15am. Trials will last about 1.5 hours

Sunday 6 September 2026, 9:30am

U8 & U10 Trials

Sunday 13 September 2026, 9:30am

U12 & U14 Trials

Who Are We Looking For?

We're looking for players who love football, want to improve and are prepared to listen, learn and work hard.

At First Touch Football Academy, development comes first. Our coaching focuses on technical ability, first touch, ball mastery, decision-making, movement and helping young players become confident footballers.

Just as importantly, we expect our players to represent the values of the Academy through their attitude, effort and respect for teammates, coaches and opponents.

Compete With FTFA in the IFA League

Our first IFA season was an incredibly positive one for the Academy, with our teams competing strongly across all age groups.

Our U8s played above their age and finished 3rd, our U10 Division 1 team showed tremendous development throughout the season and finished 5th, while our two U12 teams produced an outstanding result, finishing 1st and 2nd.

But for us, the biggest measure of success was seeing our players improve week after week and put into games what they had been learning at training.

Term 4 is the next step.
